I am Bristol born and bred and I`m currently doing my PGCE at Bath Spa University College, training to teach music in secondary schools. My big passion is the piano and I recently obtained my LLCM Recital diploma. I am fond of classical and jazz, but also have composed music in a vaguely “pop” style, mainly with film or theatre in mind. At one time I tried to get work in this field, but I`m hopeless at networking and so never get to know the right people at the right time! As well as music I love European arthouse films: Bergman, Truffaut, Rohmer, Fellini, Tarkowsky….and not to mention the silent German classics such as “Nosferatu” and “The Cabinet of Dr Caligari”. One of my favourite English-language films is Roman Polanski`s “Repulsion”. I could go on…and on…
