Reflections on 9/11

By Mrs.C

My greatest hope is that people use this as a wake-up call to life. Death can happen suddenly and at any second. You could just be starting the workday then...

That's why you should never put things off until tomorrow. Everyone should live life as their genuine selves. We need to put things into perspective and discover what is really important and focus on that...who knows how long we may have. We need to remove the negative forces from our lives, both people and activities - put them in the closet - and starting working on the positive.

That is why I am 'downsizing' my life. I realized that many of the things I used up the day doing were empty obligations. They were things that I thought I had to do, but gained no pleasure from. That's when I started spending more time with my family and devoting more time to my craft projects - doing more things for myself and less for others. I don't have as many social engagements as I used to - but you know what - I don't miss them. I stay at home most days but everything I need is there...my husband, my daughters, my cats, and my crafts. And I have discovered those things will keep me busy for a lifetime, and fill that lifetime with a lot more love then anything else.
