Who He Is

Christopher is a wonderful four year old child from Parker Colorado. Christopher was born 12 weeks premature weighing a grand total of one pound thirteen ounces on one stormy Halloween. He spent a long two and a half months in the hospital before coming home on oxygen then over the years has undergone 4 surgeries for various problems. Despite such a rough start in life Christopher has proved himself to be quite the fighter and today is a happy, playful little boy!

Why We Love Him

Christopher's spunky personality shines through in everything he does and has earned him the nickname of "Woodland Sprite" from KIU's own Amanda Hallay.

So what exactly makes Christopher so special, probably his imagination!

When Christopher was 3 he absolutely refused to give up his favorite pacifier, "Binky". One day his mother hid the pacifier and told him it went to live on the moon. Much to mommy's surprise Christopher completely accepted this explanation and every night to this day still waves and says goodnight to "Binky" who is still happily living on the moon.

Christopher also has an imaginary friend, a mouse named "Mousy". Christopher and Mousy have many great adventures together! Whether at home or out in public, Mousy is sure to make a scene! Mousy is also Christopher's great defender at night, protecting Christopher from the many monsters hiding in the dark. However Mousy doesn't just scare monsters away, he eats them! What a great companion and what a creative little boy!

Finally the most important reason that we love Christopher; Christopher loves everybody! He is extremely sweet and caring, if someone is sad Christopher is right there to comfort them. He is truly a great little man!
